We know that we can trust BIM Projects to do the best job and provide the best quality work for us. We decided to move to New Zealand, and as part of that, we bought a house and decided to fix it up before moving in. A lot of what BIM Projects assisted us with was scoping and asking the right questions—probing questions that helped us think more about what we were trying to achieve and any potential risks.
BIM Projects was fundamental in getting everything together, and the process has been pretty straightforward. Kane and his team have been really good at providing communications and updates. If we run into any problems, Kane is always on the phone, ready to solve them.
Once a week, usually midweek, Kane’s crew sends us a video walkthrough of the house, showing us what they’ve done during the week and raising any questions or issues they encountered, as well as any feedback they need from us. This has made us feel very comfortable and at ease.
It’s nice having someone with experience and the right contacts. We’ve heard from friends who have worked with other builders that they don’t get that kind of communication—they’re often left in the dark and have to chase their builders. We’ve never had that issue with Kane. If I were to do this again, I would just go with BIM Projects again.
